The multiples can be converted to percentages by multiplying by 100;
i.e. after 7 years a body will have 6 times or 600% of the annual absorption rate.

Given that the Environment Agency have permitted an increase of 500%, a multiple of 5,
the resulting levels compared to those pre-2002 resolve to 30 (6 x 5) times greater or an increase of 3,000%
